Pacifica Day Camp will be held from July 12-14 at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. The Pacifica District Day Camp is probably located closest to where you live but you can attend any OCBSA day camp. You can even attend more than one day camp if you want. For more information on the Pacifica District Day Camp along with other possible day camps go to:
Camp runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. There is a required ratio of 1 adult to 4 campers. Therefore, a parent/guardian for each Scout attending is asked to volunteer for 1 day. Adults that volunteer all 3 days will receive a camp t-shirt and a $10 Scout Shop certificate. There is no cost for adult volunteers but you will need to register as an adult and fill out medical forms for you and your Scout. The medical forms can be found at http://daycamps.ocbsa.org/medical.htm .You will take hard copies of these medical forms along with a copy of your medical insurance card on the first day of camp when you check-in. There will be at least one Boy Scout leading the Cub Scouts with the supervision of adult volunteers.
Note that siblings can also attend at a cost of $5 per day. Siblings must be at least 3 years old and potty trained. Siblings can only be at camp while their parent is present. Incoming Lions (not current Lions as they will be Tigers by the time of this event) should register as a “Sibling”. Everyone coming to camp needs to register and complete a medical form. This includes adults, siblings and youth volunteers.
